Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Bill was the founder of our Bible Study here at GreenTree Senior Living. We generally have about five folks attending. We met as usual tonight, and took a moment to remember Bill fondly. In the past few years, when Iva was no longer able to come to the dining room, he sat at my table with several others. He always started the meal with a prayer and supplied us with chocolate afterwards. A long time ago, he played tennis in a group with my late husband, Dean Smith. They were good friends. A clear thinker, Bill always spoke the truth as he saw it. We have been missing him for awhile now.

  2. I’m so sad to see about Bill’s passing. He was always so much fun and I have great memories of him and all the Sorgius family.

Praying for God’s comfort for all of you.

  3. RIP Bill. Bill and three of his buddies worked for me in the early 2000’s at Elder-Beerman and everyone loved “Wild Bill”. He was always so funny and such a hard worker. He will be remember fondly.

  4. So many good memories of times with your mother and dad. Do you remember the weekend you spent with us in Dubuque? All of ;you kids went to the tennis courts or playground with the dads and Jewel & I would get the kitchen cleaned up from one meal and it was time to start on the next. But lots of time to chat and catch up. We were feeding 12 people! My best to all of you.
