Kimberly Carter-Watts, 56, of North Vernon, died on August 13, 2023, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Kimberly was born February 22, 1967, in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Kenneth Carter and Rhea Halfacre.
Kimberly was a loving grandmother and her grandchildren Jayce and Jaxyn were her pride and joy. She lit up the room with her fun personality and was the most kind-hearted woman you could ever meet. She will be greatly missed.
The funeral will be at 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 17th, 2023 at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Reed Chapman officiating. At the request of Kimberly, cremation was chosen.
Memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Survivors include her mother, Rhea (Bill) Halfacre of North Vernon; son, Jesse Watts of North Vernon; daughter, Alexa Reeves of Columbus; sisters, Lesa Carter of Columbus and Bridget (Gary) Carter of Seymour; grandchildren, Jayce Clawson and Jaxyn Cox; and her beloved cat Sammi and her baby kitties.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Carter, and great-grandmother, Emma Helwig.
