Troy Nuby, 57, of Columbus, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at his home. He was born January 2, 1966, the son of Philip and Nellie Lee (Jones) Nuby in Owenton, Kentucky. Troy always considered himself an “Old Country Boy” who never met a stranger.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. in Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with visitation beginning at Noon.
Troy is survived by his daughter, Channel (Douglas Lee) Vincent; son, Marcus Nuby; sister, Phyllis Vennie, Carolyn Williams, Paula Jackson and Sheila Engelking and his grandchildren, Zarriaus and Lazayia. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Brenda Roddie; brothers, Gary Brightwell and Joseph Nuby and a granddaughter, Nadia.
