William Manford Todd

William Manford Todd, 92, of Columbus passed away at 5:05 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at his home. Manford was born on March 31, 1931, in Crab Orchard, KY to Bernie Carl Todd and Lora (Reynalds) Todd. He married Dorothy Mae Denney on June 28, 1952. Manford retired from Golden Foundry after 36 years of service. He was a charter member of Central Heights Church of God. He proudly served as one of the church’s first Board members. Manford loved playing Shuffle Board and often placed first at Donner Park when in competition. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2023, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Walters and Pastor Jason Johnson officiating. Calling hours will be from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Comfort Keepers or Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana through the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mae Todd; sons, Gregg Todd and Mike Todd both of Columbus, IN; granddaughter, Nicole Danielle (Franz) Harker; great-grandchildren, Caden Harker, Makayla Harker, and Grayson Harker; brother, Bob (Connie) Todd of Latavia, OH; sister, Fay Stevens of Ohio; Manford was preceded in death by his parents; Bernie and Lora Todd; brothers, Milford Todd, Raymond Todd, Bernie Todd Jr., and infant brother, Clyde Todd; sisters, Zelma Smith, Doris McQueen, Edith Powers, Hester Smith, Gladys Lockherd and infant sister, Emilene Todd
