Kimberly "Kimmi" Jean Acre

Kimberly Jean Wiley Acre, 48, of North Vernon, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, with her family by her side. Kimmi was born on January 15, 1975, in Columbus to Otis Wiley and Karen Eden Wiley. Kimmi was a 1993 graduate of Hauser High School, and spent several years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, working with MD Choice and Nightingale Home Health.
Kimmi was united in marriage to Brian on October 12, 2013. She was blessed with her children; Kaley Acre, Mackenzie Spurlin, Makayla Spurlin, and Brogan Acre. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and baking, and had a heart to help anyone who ever crossed her path, and would do so without reservation. She loved her family fiercely and would do anything for them.
Kimmi is survived by her husband, Brian of North Vernon, her children; Kaley Acre, Mackenzie Spurlin, Makayla Spurlin, and Brogan Acre; grandchildren, Jackson Sanders and Maveryck Spurlin; her mother, Karen Wiley; her sisters, Kirsten Nentrup and Shannon (Zac) Reynolds. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Karina, Caraline, Hannah, John, and Joey along with her great-nephew Sam and numerous other family and friends. Kimmi was preceded in death by her father, Otis Wiley, one unborn child, and a host of many other loved ones.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. The funeral service will also be held on Thursday beginning at 7 p.m. with Rev. Derek Carpenter officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be designated to the family through the funeral home.

Pick “a” memory I have with you Kimmi is quite the challenge. 20+ years makes it difficult! Let’s just cover the years with…. thank you! Thank you for being the most loyal friend I have ever been blessed with and thank you for ALWAYS answering my call, text or Snap regardless of the time of day or the ridiculousness of me reaching out (sorry for my part on any grey hair).You may have laughed or “momed” me with a lecture but you always answered/came through. Love always and NEVER forgotten.
