Celia Western, 53, of Taylorsville, passed away at 3:46 a.m. on January 3, 2024, in her home.
Celia was born March 11, 1970, in Columbus the daughter of Larry Dean Western and Mary Jane Thompson Wood.
Celia was employed at the Hilton Hotel Restaurant Division. She was a wonderful artist. When Celia saw someone that needed help, she was there for them. Her greatest love was for her children.
The funeral is at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2024, with calling hours from 11:00 until service time, at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
Survivors include her mother; children, Nathaniel Pedigo, of Columbus, and Logan (Joshua) West of N. Miami, OK; siblings, Larry Dean Western, and Mary Jane (Charles) Hayes, both of North Vernon; and one grandchild, Kailey West.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.

Celia was an awesome lady, so kind and would help anyone. I still can”t believe your gone. Love you girl..fly high with the Angel’s. No more worries,pain.
