Marilyn Gayle Weaver, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished soul, passed away on February 28th, 2024, at 4:45 in the morning in Columbus, Indiana. Born on February 20th, 1946, in Texas to her parents Merry Margret French and John T. Philips, Marilyn's journey through life was one of love, family, and profound impact.
Marilyn's life was a testament to the beauty of family, and she embraced her role as a loving mother with unparalleled dedication. She leaves behind a rich tapestry of descendants, including her four children: Trendi, Jessie, Deidra, and Tammy. Marilyn took great joy in witnessing their individual journeys, offering guidance and unwavering support throughout the years.
Her heart overflowed with pride for her seven grandchildren: Justin, Alex, Brady, Tylee, Sydney, Sahra, Shyann, and Lavodis. Marilyn reveled in the laughter, stories, and unique personalities each grandchild brought into her life. The love extended even further with the arrival of eleven great-grandchildren, who became the source of endless delight for Marilyn in her later years.
Marilyn was more than a matriarch; she was the heart and soul of her family. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her nurturing spirit created a home filled with warmth and acceptance. Marilyn's legacy is one of love, resilience, and the enduring strength of family bonds.
In her later years, Marilyn found solace and contentment in Columbus, Indiana, where she peacefully passed away.
