Nancy Jo Spencer

Nancy Jo Yeadon Spencer, 72, passed away on March 5, 2024, at Seymour Crossing in Seymour. Nancy was born May 23, 1951, in Seymour to the late Arvis Yeadon and Helen Rose Yeadon. Nancy lived a simple life but spent her younger years working as a Caregiver for several families in the Columbus area. She enjoyed spending time with her family, coloring, and doing crafts. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Sonia Spencer-Colvin, and her husband Dennis Colvin, her son, Shawn Spencer, and his wife Liza, her grandchildren, Johnathan Holstein, Jacob Holstein, Jacob Colvin, Lindsey Lewis, Summer Spencer, Savannah Spencer, and Sierra Spencer; she is also survived by four great-grandchildren and her sister Linda Bright. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Roger Yeadon, and her sister Mary Martha Dial. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Boston officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the service time. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana.
