Steven Michael Keller

Steven Michael Keller, 32, of Columbus, died at home on March 14, 2024. Steven was born May 6, 1991, the son of April D. Whitis and Ronnie Keller. A Columbus East graduate, Steven has been a lifelong resident of Columbus. He had worked at Faurecia and enjoyed skateboarding and fishing. Steven enjoyed being involved in the Young Marines in his earlier years. He loved his cat, Stripes. Steven was loved and will be greatly missed. A gathering of friends will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Springer Cemetery. Survivors include his father, a brother, David Lee Mills of Crawfordsville; aunts, Tonia Koontz of Seymour, Rosie Asbury of Columbus, Della Gilpin of Columbus, Virginia Haddix of North Vernon, and Angie (Ben) Hartman of Columbus; an uncle, Russ Keller of Columbus; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ella Haddix Anderson, Harry Keller Sr., Donald Whitis, and Hannah Whitis; his mother, April Whitis and his aunt, Twila Whitis.
