Patricia Ann Bass, 72, of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away on September 17, 2024, at Rosegate Village in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on April 27, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Sherman Wolfenkoehler, and Grace Savers Wolfenkoehler. She married James H. Bass Jr. on October 14, 1987.
Patricia received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and was a skilled nurse who had a passion for her job for 45 years. She enjoyed yard work and being outside, and her favorite pastime was going to the beach. Above all, though, her greatest roles in life were being a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Eric Bass, and his family. Preceding her in death are her parents, Sherman and Grace Wolfenkoehler, and her husband, James Bass Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at The Gathering Place in Edinburgh, Indiana.

Patty took the time to be by her adopted grandson in 2015 when he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. She came everyday for 4 days and brought him toys mostly dinosaurs since he loved them so. Brian loved her so much always calling her grandma patty. He went to see her a few months ago and spent the afternoon with her. She so enjoyed his company. She was always a huge help with him.
