Helen Marie Pierce, a beacon of loving kindness and generosity, passed away peacefully due to natural causes on November 9, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on January 25, 1959, in Edmonton, Kentucky to Howard McGill and Marie Parnell Pierce. Helen lived a life marked by compassion, joy, and an unwavering dedication to her family and community. Helen, known affectionately by her friends and family as a caring and devoted mother, is survived by her cherished daughter, Tabatha (Jason) Parlow, and her adored grandsons, Jayson Ethan Parlow and Jake Eric Parlow. Her legacy of love also lives on through her brothers, Larry Coffey, Gill Pierce, Ricky Pierce, and Mike Edwards. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Edwards, whose memory remained close to Helen's heart. Throughout her career as a nurse's aide and caregiver, Helen touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and unwavering support. Her compassion knew no bounds, and she was a source of comfort and care for all those she served. Helen's commitment to her community was further exemplified by her active involvement in the Sanctuary for over five years, where her presence was a testament to her faith and her desire to serve others. In her younger days, Helen's adventurous spirit shone brightly as she embraced the freedom of the open road on her motorcycle. Her love for the outdoors extended to boating, where she found tranquility and joy on the water. Helen's companionship with her beloved dog, Fancy, was a source of great happiness and comfort to her, and their bond was a beautiful example of the unconditional love between a pet and its owner. Above all, Helen's world revolved around her grandchildren, Jayson and Jake, with whom she shared countless precious moments. Her love for them was boundless, and she reveled in every opportunity to be a part of their lives, imparting wisdom, laughter, and an abundance of hugs.
