Carl H. Peters Jr.
September 13, 1951 ~ December 20, 2024
Carl H. Peters Jr., 73, of Columbus, IN, formerly of Greensburg, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 at Silver Oaks Health Campus. Carl was born on September 13, 1951 in Greensburg to Carl H. Peters Sr. and Rosemary Lamastra Peters. He married Carolyn E. Lochard on November 16, 1974 and recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.
After many dedicated years, he retired from Delta Faucet, where he was known for his strong work ethic and amiable nature. He was a proud member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church.
A farmer at his core, Carl's love for the land was evident to all who knew him. His hands were rarely clean, as he found solace and joy in the soil of his gardens and the fields he tended. Carl's passion for the outdoors was matched only by his love for sports. He was a fan of the Indiana Pacers, the Indianapolis Colts, watching the INDY 500, and the Cincinnati Reds.
Above all, Carl's greatest joy was his family. He believed that the most precious moments were those spent surrounded by loved ones. His legacy of love and laughter will be carried on through the stories shared at family gatherings, where his absence will be deeply felt but his spirit ever-present.
A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crossfit (Rock Steady Boxing), 209 E. 2nd St., Seymour, IN 47274 or Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church, 7414 E. Michigan Road, Waldron, IN 46182.
