Toni Darren Woodall, 59, of Columbus, IN passed away January 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in his home. Toni was born December 24, 1965, the son of Donald Franklin and Lenora Faith Richardson Woodall. Toni was a graduate of Columbus East High School. After High School, he was a Petty Officer in the Navy where he worked as a cook and traveled across many countries. Toni had many occupations throughout his life including a cook at Four Seasons, a tree-trimmer, and a home health caregiver. On June 24, 1994, Toni married Cynthia Jean McDaniel, and they spent the next 30 years building a life together. Throughout his life he enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening, mushroom hunting, listening to music around a campfire, and filling his life with laughter and libations. His family will miss his sense of humor, Thanksgiving family dinners, traditional reading of Twas’ The Night Before Christmas on Christmas Eve, and his carefree spirit. Toni is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cynthia Woodall; sons, Jhade Woodall (Charlotta) and Levi Woodall; daughters, Tia Duff (Michael), Tasia Griffith (Alex), and Shelby Whedon (William); grandchildren Mackenzie Gwinn (Jacob), Matthew Duff, Stormy Griffith, Dexter Griffith, William Whedon III, Mahlon Whedon, and Lincoln Whedon; great-grandchildren Wesley Gwinn and Harlow Gwinn; brothers Shannon Richardson (Becky), Donald Woodall Jr. (Melissa), and Troy Woodall (Maleea); and many nieces, nephews, and family friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Donald Woodall Sr. and Lenora Woodall; In-laws Delbert McDaniel and Shirley McDaniel; brother-in-law Rusty McDaniel; and grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family friends. The funeral service celebrating Toni’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until the time of service on Sunday. In keeping with Toni’s wishes, cremation will follow after the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.

  1. He had a great life, with his great family. The pic of him on top of the table was at my parents house in Washington. Before they moved up to Cincinnati. Love all of you cousins.
