Corrine Jane Seelye, 96, passed away at her winter home in Florida on February 8, 2025. She was born December 9, 1928, in Columbus, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Scheidt) Legan.
Corrine was a schoolteacher for many years. She was married to Judson Arthur Seelye and he preceded her in death in 2000.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 14, 202,5 in Garland Brook Cemetery.
Corrine leaves behind her daughter, Pamela (Stan) Hensler; son, Judson “Jud” (Nancy) Seelye; twin sister, Lorene Kececioglu; four grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; daughters, Lisa Seelye Conway and Jane Legan Seelye; son Arthur Seelye; brothers, Carl, Earl, and Junior Legan and a sister Etta Dessinger.
