Robin E. Clawson, a beloved figure known for her loving nature, courageous spirit, and unwavering kindness, passed away peacefully in her native city of Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 6, 2025 after 59 years of life that was rich with love and joy. She was born on April 6, 1965, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Charmie "Tex" Clawson and Rita Baker Clawson. Robin was a light in the lives of those who knew her, weaving joy and care into the fabric of her community. Her love for her family was paramount, and she leaves behind a legacy of warmth and devotion. Robin was a proud and doting mother to her children, Allen Clawson and Nicole Hopkins of Columbus, and an adored grandmother to her cherished grandchildren, Mylie, Rilyn, and Conley. She found great joy in spending treasured moments with them, creating memories that will continue to dwell in their hearts. Also mourning her loss are her devoted mother, Rita; her supportive brothers, Darrell (Kelly) Clawson of Brown County and Paul (Felicia) Clawson of Columbus; her loving sisters, Trina Shelton and Gina (Randy) Burris of Columbus; and a host of nieces and nephews who admired her greatly. Robin reveled in life's simple pleasures and had an array of interests that kept her spirit vibrant. She was often found playing solitaire, coloring, carefully assembling model cars, and embracing her love of the outdoors through shooting guns. A fan of television series, Robin enjoyed watching "The Walking Dead," "Counting Cars," and "Hometown," which sparked lively conversation and laughter amongst friends and family. A funeral service celebrating Robin’s life will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery. Robin's warmth and courage will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate to have crossed her path. Her bright spirit will continue to shine in the legacy of kindness she leaves behind.

From the time we were playing in the woods going horseback riding or whatever we were doing I miss you in countless ways so many memories going on family vacations riding in the back of the truck all of us having the time of our lives, when you were in labor with Nichole and wouldn’t let them do the delivery until I got there or you and Michael getting into the fresh canned tomatoes and eating most of the jars mom canned girl I love you so much and I know how much you loved your boy Allen and daughter Nichole your great joy was your grand babies I have so much love for you forever my Hood and loyal cousin and friend you’ve been I love you your cousin Rhonda
