Sheila Littrell
December 19, 1945 ~ March 27, 2025
Sheila Littrell, a beacon of humor and love, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, in Franklin, Indiana, at the age of 79. Born on December 19, 1945, in Columbus, Indiana, to William Eppie and Margaret (Ferry) Harden. Sheila's life was a tapestry of cherished moments and simple pleasures that she wove with care and joy. She married the love of her life, Dickie Littrell on April 3, 1980. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2024.
Throughout her life in Columbus, Sheila was known for her love of literature, with a particular fondness for Amish novels. Her passion for reading was only matched by her love for animals, especially her beloved cat, Smudge, who was her constant companion and source of comfort. Sheila's gentle nature made her a friend to all creatures, and her kindness was felt by every life she touched.
An adventurous spirit, Sheila enjoyed the thrill of gambling, finding excitement in the roll of the dice and the spin of the wheel. Her adventurous nature also led her to the open seas, where she relished the freedom and beauty of cruising. Her most recent voyage to the Caribbean was a highlight, filled with sun-soaked memories and the joy of exploration.
Sheila's legacy is one of love, humor, and a warm smile that could light up any room. Her presence was a gift to those who knew her, and her memory will be treasured in the hearts of many. As we bid farewell to Sheila, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of the simple joys that make life so precious. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire us every day.
