Terry L. Minor

Terry Minor, 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 5 2025 amidst a nearly yearlong battle with cancer. Terry was a Columbus, Indiana native and started his business and raised his family there. Terry was an avid sports fan and especially loved basketball and racing. Most evenings and weekends he could be found watching the Hoosiers, the Pacers, or NASCAR on the biggest television known to man. Terry was a tried-and-true motorhead. He enjoyed trips to the race track as the owner of a ¾ midget race car and restoring and customizing motorcycles and classic cars. He spent many a day at his shop listening to classic rock and tinkering with his “toys”. On a nice summer day, you might catch him on the golf course with his wife or one of the few people lucky enough to call him friend. He also never met a pizza or a chimichanga he didn’t like. Terry spent his time doing the things he truly loved with the people he loved and led a blessed and fulfilling life. We would often hear him say, “If I died tomorrow, I would die a happy man.” And we believe he did. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, and dog. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 23rd from 4 to 7 PM at the Elk’s Lodge #521 located at 4664 Ray Boll Blvd, Columbus, Indiana, 47203. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Terry’s name to Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana. In memory of Terry, please wear your favorite Pacer’s attire or your grungiest t-shirt and shorts.
