Terry L. Minor
October 16, 1961 ~ August 5, 2025
Terry Minor, 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 5 2025 amidst a nearly yearlong battle with cancer. Terry was a Columbus, Indiana native and started his business and raised his family there.
Terry was an avid sports fan and especially loved basketball and racing. Most evenings and weekends he could be found watching the Hoosiers, the Pacers, or NASCAR on the biggest television known to man.
Terry was a tried-and-true motorhead. He enjoyed trips to the race track as the owner of a ¾ midget race car and restoring and customizing motorcycles and classic cars. He spent many a day at his shop listening to classic rock and tinkering with his “toys”. On a nice summer day, you might catch him on the golf course with his wife or one of the few people lucky enough to call him friend. He also never met a pizza or a chimichanga he didn’t like.
Terry spent his time doing the things he truly loved with the people he loved and led a blessed and fulfilling life. We would often hear him say, “If I died tomorrow, I would die a happy man.” And we believe he did. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
He is survived by his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, and dog. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 23rd from 4 to 7 PM at the Elk’s Lodge #521 located at 4664 Ray Boll Blvd, Columbus, Indiana, 47203.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Terry’s name to Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana.
In memory of Terry, please wear your favorite Pacer’s attire or your grungiest t-shirt and shorts.

Terry and I had many great memories. Trips to Hawaii and Florida and Washington DC. We love our daughter Samantha and our grandchildren. He was most certainly a motor head. Always working on his starfire I think it was an Oldsmobile, it was yellow. He was a thoughtful man, I certainly learned to appreciate sports and we had many sports themed parties. I loved his family. He will be missed so much. Christie Crippen
Bless you Christie –

Full Of Love Bouquet was purchased for the family of Terry L. Minor.
Sorry for your loss. I remember Terry as a quiet and friendly guy. He always had a smile. A group of us used to walk to Godfathers Pizza for lunch sometimes. We did our share of partying in the late 70’s/early 80’s. He was in a few of my classes at C.N.H.S. maybe even Auto Shop. Dave Dow
Terry was like a father to me during a time in my life when I needed it most. His love for racing is probably what brought us together and we shared many great moments together. I will always cherish the good times we had and the impact he had on my life.
To the Minor Family – So sorry to hear of Terry’s Passing. I didn’t realize he was in ill health. Have worked with Terry and Columbus Hose for many years. Will be difficult driving past Columbus Hose and not imagining him being there at work. Again, Sorry for your loss – Robert Hollis / Columbus Computer
Kristie and family…. You are all in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss

I was an elementary school classmate of his (Denise Thomson). I will always remember his kindness and that beautiful house he lived in as a child I would pass on my bike going to school.
Beautiful video!
