Danny Gene Mason

Danny Gene Mason, known affectionately to friends and family as Danny, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025, in Indianapolis, IN, at the age of 65. Born on April 2, 1960, the son of Edward and Marie Mason in Shelbyville, IN. Danny grew up with a passion for fixing things and an unwavering work ethic that would define his life and career. Danny was a self-employed mechanic and yard man. In his leisure time he enjoyed drawing with pen and pencil, producing loving sketches that will be cherished by family and friends. Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Miller’s Cemetery in Shelbyville, Indiana. He is survived by his sisters, Betty Gold, Judy Carroll, and Carol Luetke; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marie Mason and brothers, Larry, Terry, Lynn and Allen. Donations may be made directly to Betty Gold to help with final expenses through the funeral home.
