Rev. Roy W. Brunson, a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 96 in Columbus, Indiana. Born on May 6, 1929, in Rama Township, Ontario, Canada, Rev. Brunson, known fondly as Roy, dedicated his life to his faith, family, and community.

Roy will be laid to rest in Garland Brook Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.

I’ve always thought so highly of Uncle Roy. I remember fondly our family visits over the years. Uncle Roy would really listen and care about any concerns we were having. When it was time to say goodbye, he would lead us in prayer together, remembering each of us and what we had said to him, and always praying for “travelling mercies” until we would be together again.
My heartfelt sympathies to Anna, John and Kate, and the whole family.
With love, Barbara Brunson
