Isai Quintana Solis

Isai Quintana Solis, 19, of Columbus, IN, passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on October 19, 2005 in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico to Apolinar Quintana Wong and Idelhi Solis Ezparza. Isai took pride in his work, having spent time in the construction industry where he was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to fix just about anything. His mechanical skills were further honed during his service with the Indiana National Guard, where he stood out for his commitment to his fellow servicemen and women. Isai's hands were rarely still, as he was always tinkering with something, improving and creating with the same passion he brought to every aspect of his life. Beyond his professional life, Isai was a man of many interests. He had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life, such as shooting guns and working out, which reflected his dedication to personal discipline and excellence. His love for cowboy attire and music spoke to his unique style and his ability to stand out in a crowd. Isai was also an avid skateboarder, a hobby that showcased his adventurous spirit and his love for the outdoors. Isai was the life of the party, a title he earned through his infectious laughter, his knack for storytelling, and his generous nature. He was a loving uncle who cherished time spent with his nieces and nephews, teaching them about the world and sharing in their joys. As a friend, he was second to none, always there with a listening ear, a helping hand, or a word of encouragement. Above all, Isai will be remembered for his kind heart and his willingness to help others. He was the person you could call at any hour for assistance, and he would be there without hesitation. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and the countless lives he touched with his generosity. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at St Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Chris Wadelton officiating. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Survivors include his mother, Idelhi Solis Ezparza; father, Apolinar Quintana Wong; step-dad, Ceaser Bustos; brothers, Jacob Quintana Solis, Isaac Quintana Solis; nephew, Ruben James Hank Quintana; niece, Kinley Ann Quintana; grandpa, Ruben Solis Najera; grandma, Idalia Ezparza; god-mother, Maribel Jimenez; god-father, Normando Jimenez; uncles, Iram Solis Ezparza and Raul Solis Ezparza.
