Billie J. Moffitt

Billie Josette Shrader Moffitt, 87, of Columbus, Indiana, passed away on February 1st, 2026 at The Belmont in Columbus.

Billie was born on October 11, 1938 in Columbus. She married her high school sweetheart, Paul Edward Moffitt, on December 14, 1957.

She was a 1956 graduate of Columbus High School, and a faithful member of Garden City Christian Church for seventy years.

Billie worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Bartholomew County School System. She was a leading Representative for Avon for twenty years.

She is survived by a sister, Jackie (Charlie) Ward, a niece whom she raised as her daughter, Nikki Burton; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Moffitt; daughter, Vicki Moffitt; parents, Joel and Bernadine Shrader; sister, Debbie (Elmo) Coleman; and brother Danny (Rita) Shrader.

Billie will be laid to rest at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus.
