Dee Dee was born on July 22, 1949, in Columbus, Indiana, to Robert and Joan Ogilvie. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from Columbus High School in 1967. Later in life, she continued her education and earned an associate degree from Kaplan University. On February 13, 1993, Dee Dee married James Fye, with whom she shared many fun adventures and cherished years.
Dee Dee devoted much of her life to her family as a homemaker, raising her children with love. She also enjoyed working part time in the Marsh bakery, where she decorated cakes, along with other jobs throughout the years. She spent a meaningful portion of her career serving customers at PIP Printing, where her friendly nature and warm smile were appreciated by many.
After retiring, Jim and Dee Dee moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she enjoyed sunny days, ocean breezes, and being close to the water she loved so much. Dee Dee found joy in spending time with friends and family, being on or near the water, and simply having fun.
