Naomi G. Irwin, 8 years old, passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with Leukemia, on September 5, 2026. Naomi was born on October 7, 2017, in Indianapolis, to Erin (Aimers) Rose and Kyle Irwin, who both survive.
Full of life, strength, and love, Naomi was a third grade student at St. Bartholomew Catholic School. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, where she received First Communion and participated in First Reconciliation last school year with her classmates. She loved animals, swimming, was a budding artist, and enjoyed spending time with her friends and cousins. Naomi loved anything pink or purple. Though her time spent here was brief, the love, energy, and smiles that she spread will never be forgotten.
Naomi was preceded in death by her uncle, Justin Aimers.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving maternal grandparents, William and Sandra Aimers; paternal grandparents, Barbara Irwin and John Irwin; siblings, Noah Rose, Lola Rose, and Kamden Irwin; aunts and uncles, Erika (Matthew) Whelan; Nick and Justin Irwin; a large extended family consisting of many loving cousins.
Friends and family will gather to remember, honor, and celebrate Naomi’s life on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., in the Narthex at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in the church. Fr. Chris Wadelton will be the principal celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Bartholomew Catholic School or to Riley Hospital for Children.
Jewell-Rittman Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family. Visit www.JewellRittman.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
