Vera May Beach, age 97, passed away on October 6, 2026, in Columbus, Indiana. She was born on November 14, 1928, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and lived a long life marked by love, faith, and devotion to her family.
Vera was a loving, generous, and faith-filled woman whose presence brought comfort and warmth to those around her. She devoted her life to her family and to the work of making a home filled with care, kindness, and steady support. As a homemaker, she gave of herself in countless ways, and her family was the center of her world.
She enjoyed cooking and took great joy in preparing meals for those she loved. Through her kindness and the simple acts of daily life, she created lasting memories for her family and friends. Vera had a gift for making others feel welcome, and her gentle nature left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Vera was preceded in death by her husbands, Bud Fuller, Lawrence Garavalia, and Rolland Beach. She was also preceded in death by her father, David Snider, Sr., her mother, Genevieve Snider, her brothers, David and Kermit Snider, her sisters, Esther Amann and Cleora Betz, and her son, Arnold Fuller. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
She is survived by her sons, Bruce Fuller, David Fuller, and Bill Fuller, and her daughters, Mary Garavalia and Leah Dias. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her love and example. Her family will remember her for her unwavering devotion, her kind heart, and the many ways she enriched their lives. Vera’s legacy is one of faith, family, and enduring love. She will be remembered with deep affection and gratitude by all who knew her.
Visitation for family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 14, 2026 followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Jewell-Rittman Funeral Service and Crematory with the Rev. Eli Johnson officiating. Vera will be laid to rest in the Green Mound Cemetery in Holmen, WI at a later date.
