Aaron R. Collins, 34, of Ninth Street, died in a traffic accident at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, in Bartholomew County. Survivors include his mother, Tamra R. Garland Collins of Columbus; a son, Christian Aaron Collins of Columbus; a daughter, Chloe E. Collins of Columbus; grandparents, Brenda Garland of Columbus and James W. Garland of Seymour; and a brother, Justin Aaron Perry of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Collins; and grandparents, Richard and Pansy Collins and Vernon and Tish Dinn. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, with calling from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Collins family.
