Adah L. Duncan November 14, 1917 - April 13, 2006 Adah L. Duncan, 88, of Elizabeth Street, died at 3:20 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Hospice of South Central Indiana. Adah lived in Columbus most of her life. She worked for Senior Products after her retirement from Vernco Corp. in 1968. She delivered The Republic in rural areas for ten years. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed camping, horseback riding with the Saddle Club, crocheting, going to church, cooking and making noodles. She had a great love for her family. Born in Champaign, Ill., Mrs. Duncan was the daughter of Fred and Mabel Fabert Dickason. She married Paul Y. Duncan July 11, 1936. He preceded her in death Feb.11, 2006. She is survived by daughters, Wanda Gill, Mabel (Hal) Pruitt, Janice Gilpin and Joann Herr, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Gary Gill, Troy and Todd Gilpin, Darrin Herr, Cindy Jo Hotz, Louann Matlock, Carol (Don)Pope and Kathy Crouch; and a sister, Ruby Cuthbert of Spencer, Iowa. 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Duncan and a brother, Lester Dickason. Funeral Information VISITATION: Monday April 17, 2006 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and also one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.
