Agnes A. Johnson September 26, 1935 - January 10, 2008 Agnes A. Johnson, 72, of Washington Street died at 8:05 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mrs. Johnson attended Ladywood Catholic High School in Indianapolis and graduated from Columbus High School. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church where she was a member of St. Bartholomew Choir and Ladies Guild for many years. Born in Columbus Sept. 26, 1935, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of John Earl Blanford III and Mary M. Green Blanford. She married Donald E. Mort Johnson April 24, 1954. Survivors include daughters, Rose A. Johnson of Columbus, Veronica K. (Stephen) Cooney of Columbus, Angela A. (Steven) Schroer of Columbus, Virginia L. (Steve) Schrougham of Hope, Marita M. (Garrett) Burton of Columbus and Rhonda L. (Don) Fowler of Columbus; grandchildren, Chrisandra D. (Carl) Schwartz, Robert D. Rhodes, Aubrey D. Jackson, Aliceyn D. Cooney, Charles D.W. Johnson, Dane Logan (Emila) Fowler, Jeffrey D. Brooks Jackson, Broc G. Burton, Donavan T. Schrougham, Colten L. Fowler and Stephanie L. Schrougham; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 29, 1983; her parents; two infant daughters; grandaughter, Briget D. Burton; brothers, Joseph, Charles, Carl, William and Frankie Blanford; and a sister, Ethel Blanford Coy. Funeral Information FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Clem Davis officiating. VISITATION: 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. BURIAL: Garland Brook Cemetery.
