Alejandro amaba a todos, y su energía y risa eran contagiosas para todos los que lo rodeaban y podían iluminar cualquier habitación y hacer sonreír a todos los que lo rodeaban. Alejandro era un hombre de familia, protegía mucho a sus seres queridos y disfrutaba pasar tiempo de calidad con ellos, ya fuera paseando en bote o preparando una barbacoa. También le gustaba jugar su PS4 y las carreras de resistencia en su juventud. A Alejandro le sobreviven su padre, Alejandro Flores Sr. de Puerto Rico; sus hijos; Jessica Boespflug, Christopher Melchor, Robert Alexander, Matthew Alexander, Eric Alexander y Kevin Alexander; sus hermanos; Israel Ortiz (Marina de los Estados Unidos jubilado), Abelardo Ortiz, Reynaldo Ortiz; hermanas, Jennifer Flores, Eyra Martinez, Maria Fraser y once nietos Y su major amigo Keith Garris. A Alejandro le precedió en la muerte su madre, Carmen Vega Ortiz. Alejandro was born November 19, 1969, to Alejandro Flores Sr. and Carmen Vega Ortiz in Bronx, New York. Alejandro attended trade school in his earlier years and was a certified electrician. He grew up between New Jersey and New York, before moving to the Columbus area. Alejandro was a man of many talents and a jack of all trades. He was a skilled electrician, computer geek, and was employed at Toyota as a laser cutter. Alejandro loved everyone, and his energy and laughter were infectious to everyone around him and could light up any room, and bring smiles to everyone around him. Alejandro was a family man, was highly protective of those that he loved, and enjoyed spending quality time with them, whether it be boating or putting on a barbecue. He also enjoyed playing his PS4, and drag racing in his younger years. Alejandro is survived by his father, Alejandro Flores Sr. of Puerto Rico; his children; Jessica Boespflug, Christopher Melchor, Robert Alexander, Matthew Alexander, Eric Alexander, and Kevin Alexander; his brothers; Israel Ortiz (U.S. Navy, RET.), Abelardo Ortiz, Reynaldo Ortiz; sisters, Jennifer Flores, Eyra Martinez, Maria Fraser, eleven grandchildren and best friend Keith Garris. Alejandro was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Vega Ortiz. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, 3855 25th St, Columbus, IN, with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Father Chris Wadelton officiating.
