Alfred Owen Taylor, 86, of Columbus, IN, formerly of North Bend, OH, died on May 10 at Hospice of South Central, IN, Columbus, IN. He was born on Oct. 26, 1919, in Cincinnati to the late William & Abigail (Dietz) Taylor. He married Dorothy Blaine Meyer on March 1, 1947. She preceded him in death on March 27, 1997. Also preceding him in death were 3 brothers, William, Lloyd & Floyd Taylor. He is survived by 1 son Alfred "Skip" Taylor and his wife Christine of Columbus & 3 grandchildren Jessica Vogel (Edward) & Matthew Taylor (Amanda), both of Columbus and Sharon Fatton (Nathan) of Fishers, IN. Mr Taylor was a veteran of the US Army adn Army Air Corp of WW II and participated in teh Battle of the Bulge. He was retired auto technician. He was a member of the Sandy Hook Un. Methodist Church, a 50 year member of North Bend, OH Masonic Lodge #346 F&AM, an honorary member of the St. Johns Lodge of Columbus, & a member of teh VFW, Amercian Legion, High Twelve and Bible Christian Fellowship

VISITATION: Friday; May 12, 2006 from 5-8 P.M. at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Saturday; May 13, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH
BURIAL: Interment with military honors in Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, Ohio.
