  1. My sympathy to Alfred’s family. He and I were school classmates at State Street School, Central Junior High, and Columbus High School. I enjoyed knowing Alfred and am sorry to hear of his passing.

  2. To the family of Al Fields:My condolences for your loss.I feel like i lost a part of my family as well a great friend. Though I only had one year with him being my neighbor,he made me feel like I’d always been there.Love You Al!

  3. In the short time i was blessed to know Al he became a friend id known all my life. I will forever be thankful to the lord that our paths crossed. To a wonderful man who will be truly missed.

  4. Al was a good man. I worked with him and for him in the nineties. When i needed a friend or a favor, he was always there with a smile or a good joke. I played many games off pool with him at JAC lounge. I will always value him as a friend. Gary Lee
