Alice Marie Manning, 82, of Hanover died at 7:25 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006, at Millers Merry Manor.
Mrs. Manning was a member of the Baptist faith and was a dedicated reader of the Bible. She enjoyed crocheting.
Born in Rush County Dec. 15, 1923, Mrs. Manning was the daughter of William and Millie Larence Merritt. She married James Manning in May 1954.
Survivors include sons, Bill Manning of Hanover, Larry Miller of Butlerville and Bobby Manning of Columbus; daughters, Robin Everhart of Hanover, Jo Ann Miller of Greensburg and Lou Bell of Hope; grandchildren, Donna Ernstes, Charles Manning Jr., Amy Moody, Larry E. Miller Jr., Gary L. Miller, Eric J. Miller, Kevin J. Miller, Amber Skaggs, Dottie Salsman, Bobby Manning Jr., Brandon Manning, Tonya Meinz, Levi Smith, Dusty Everhart, Sandy Everhart, Darla Cheek and Chrystal Bell; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Sept. 23, 1980; a daughter, Nancy Ruble Miller; seven brothers; and one sister.
