Alma E. Walls, 76, of Columbus, passed away at 8:20 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2019 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. Alma was born February 18, 1943 in Mineral Wells, TX to Enoch Burton and Deller Burton. She married Laurel J. Walls on October 6, 1956.
Alma liked gardening, reading and taking care of children.
Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus, IN. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. (CST) Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E. Steve Wariner Dr. Russell Springs, KY 42642. With calling hours from 11 a.m. until service time on Thursday at Wilson Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband Laurel J. Walls; children, Debbie Perez and Charlie Walls; a sister, Elsie Burton; grandchildren, Scott Perez, Beth Perez, Tristan Walls, Colton Walls, David Mauk and Nicholas Walls; great grandchildren, Alexander Staggs, Jakob Branum, Isabel Branum, Maia Perez and Ava Perez; a great great grandchild, Malcolm Staggs
Alma was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Anita Walls; brothers, Bobby Joe Burton and Enoch Junior Burton.

Alma was allways a pleasure to talk to. She treated everyone she met with kindness. When I met Alma she talked with pride about her daughter Debbie and grandchildren Scott and Beth. I have known Alma 30 + years and I feel blessed to have known her.
