Alys M. Galbraith February 20, 2011 Alys M. Galbraith, 92, of Hope, died at 3:40 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Alys lived most of her life in Lake Worth, FL, and moved to Millers Merry Manor in 2008. She was of the Baptist faith. Born in Providence, RI, March 6, 1918, Alys was the daughter of Leon Minutilla and Nancy Spinella Minutilla. She married James W. Galbraith, who survives. Other survivors include sons, James Galbraith of Rutledge, TN, and Gary Galbraith of Lake Worth, FL; a daughter, Carolyn (Norman) Curry of Columbus; grandchildren, Kimberly (Tim) Dillingham, James (Kim) Curry, Gregg Galbraith, Tammy Galbraith, Siobhan Galbraith, Carrie Hart and Jack Galbraith; great-grandchildren, Courtney Brock, Emily Dillingham, Troy and Josh Galbraith, Jerome J.J. Clark and Alex and Taylor Hart; and great-great-grandchildren, Chloie Phelps and Kaydenze Brock. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Tim Curry. Funeral Information In keeping with her wishes, after cremation, Alys will have a private burial at Hawcreek Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
