Amy Josephine Zeigler
June 3, 1962 ~ January 19, 2024
Amy Josephine Zeigler born June 3rd 1962, in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Judith Ione and Gary Lynn Zeigler, passed away peacefully in her home January 19th directly into the arms of her Lord and Savior. This was her stated goal.
Never in her lifetime was there any doubt that she loved the Lord and was faithful to the end. She encompassed all the words and phrases that speaks to the love and respect for other people, cats, and dogs included, especially DiddyBop her beloved feline. She spent six years in the Air Force Reserve and loved the experience. Throughout her life she struggled through the ordeals of bipolar disorder, but fought gallantly every day so much that most people were unaware of her condition. She was eager to laugh and enjoy life, quick to question, not without fault, but prone to take responsibility, never hateful, or vengeful, always beautiful.
Amy is survived by her mother, Judy Zeigler; niece, Amanda Zeigler, best friend and former husband Danny Vanderbur; nephew, Christopher Dorn; great nephew’s Jaycen Turner, Ryker Dorn; great nieces, Attalie Turner and Reagan Schwartz; step nephew, Tanner Green; step niece, Kirsten Campbell; cousins Judy, Joe, and Jay Barnett, Tom and Mike Graham; uncle, Don Barnett;
She was preceded in death by her father; Gary Zeigler; brother, Matthew Zeigler; grandmother, Frances Barnett; aunt Aral Graham; uncle, Ivan Barnett.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024, at Garden City Christian Church, 3245 Jonesville Road, Columbus, IN 47201 with Pastor Brian Gilroy officiating.
