September 9, 1972 ~ February 5, 2016

Andrew "Wes" Allen Weston, 43, of Columbus, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep due to accidental carbon monoxide poisoning on February 5, 2016, at his sister's home in Edwardsburg, Michigan. Andrew was born in Logansport, Indiana, on September 9, 1972. He graduated from Niceville Senior High School in Florida in 1990, and from there went on to graduate from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1996. While at Purdue, he was inducted into Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity and enjoyed the friendships he maintained after graduation with his brothers. Andrew spent the majority of his career as a retail pharmacist working for Hook's, Revco, Kroger, Marsh and CVS. The last few years of his life he left retail and went to work for Skilled Care of Indiana where he was able to focus on providing care to nursing home patients throughout Indiana. Andrew enjoyed spending time watching Purdue basketball, grilling, baking (especially his family famous chocolate chip cookies), hiking, annual July 4th family festivities in Michigan, camping trips and poker weekends with his brother-in-law and friends, woodworking, watching movies, spending time with his “fur kids,” and especially any time he could spend with his nieces and nephews and his extended family. Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer. They were married on October 27, 2012. Andrew is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jennifer, of Columbus, Indiana; his mother, Jayne Weston Hershman, of Edwardsburg, Michigan; his sister, Dr. Elizabeth Weston Hammang, her husband, David Hammang, and their three children, Ian, Clark and Ava, of Edwardsburg, Michigan; his father and mother-in-law, Jack and Rita Baxter of Columbus, Indiana; his sister-in-law, Kelly Moore, her husband, James, and their four children, Mason, Jillian, Diane and Logan, of Dayton, Ohio; and his brother-in-law, Scott Baxter, his wife Shannon, and their three children, Brittany, Madison and Alanna of Highland Village, Texas. Andrew was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles Ray Hershman, and his grandparents Keith and Dorothy Weston and Wayne and Dorothy Jackson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
