Angela L. Tempest
March 18, 1974 ~ October 12, 2021
Angela L. Tempest, 47 of Columbus, Indiana, passed away at Indianapolis Medical Center on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021.
She was born on March 18, 1974, the daughter of Robert Lee and Betty Lou Lawson Tempest. She graduated from high school, but was never employed due to health conditions. She was never married.
She is survived by her loving parents, Robert L. (Pam) Tempest and Betty Lou Lawson Tempest. She is also survived by brothers Robert W. Tempest and a step-brother Craig Holcomb, both of Columbus. She also leaves behind several aunts and uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Angela was a light for many, attending The Sanctuary Church and cheering for Michigan sports teams. She also enjoyed fishing, was a genuinely kind person and touched many people’s hearts.
Family and friends will honor her life with a funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15 at the Sanctuary Church with Pastor Matthew Johnson officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until time of service on the same day. Immediately following the service, burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus.
A memorial has been established to the Bartholomew County Humane Society.
Arrangements are being handled by Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus. You are invited to light a virtual candle and send a message to the family via the funeral home website.
