Anita Marie Leonard

Anita Marie Leonard, 57, of Clifford, died at 4:44 p.m. on October 14, 2022, at her home. She was born August 25, 1965, in Columbus, the daughter of Willie Edison Leonard and Margaret Myrtle (Beesley) Leonard. Anita attended Christ Embassy of Columbus and loved her church and pastor. She was a very giving person who loved everyone. She was a great mama and wonderful sister who will be greatly missed. The funeral will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2022, at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Emem Akpanekong officiating. Calling will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Survivors include her son, Travis Dale Leonard of Clifford; brothers, Randall (Yvonne) Leonard of Elizabethtown, Larry Leonard of Clifford, Willie “Jr.” (Elizabeth) Leonard of Taylorsville, Harvey “Billy” (Robin) Leonard of Columbus, and Kendall (Lisa) Leonard of Columbus; and sister, Teresa (Terry Warren) Leonard of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gary Leonard, Terry Leonard, Roger Leonard, and Gregory Leonard. Arrangements entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
