Anna Christine Lucas, 66, of Elizabethtown, passed away at 3 p.m. January 1, 2019, at her home. Anna was born June 21, 1952, in Franklin, the daughter of William Orville and Alice Marie Bisel Turner.  She married Donald R. Lucas June 13, 1970. Anna retired from Sapp’s Bakery after 27 years of employment. She enjoyed sitting on the porch watching her hummingbirds, reading her Bible and watching her great-grandson. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January  8, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Lucas officiating. Calling will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at Westport Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Jackson County Hospice in memory of Anna. Survivors include her husband, Donald R. Lucas; father, William Orville Turner of Scipio; daughter, Jeannie (Charles) Cravens of Elizabethtown; brother, Orville Dale Turner of Jennings County and sisters, Brenda (Lewis) Turner of Edinburgh and Julia (Michael) Brown of Columbus; grandchildren, C.J. (Lindsey) Cravens of North Vernon, Sheena (Damian Phillips) Cravens of Columbus and Sheyanna (Stefan DeHaven) Cravens of Elizabethtown; and a great-grandchild, Lukas DeHaven. She was preceded in death by her mother; and her brother, James Turner and sister, Linda Turner.
