Anna Rose Hoskins

Anna Rose Hoskins, 93, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday April 8, 2025 at Silver Oaks Health Center. She was born May 22, 1931 in Montgomery, Alabama, the daughter of Joseph V. Taylor, Sr and Shirlette I. Dewar Taylor. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and retired from Cummins in 1997. Surviving is a daughter, Sherrie (Larry) Wells; a son, Ronald (Micki) Hoskins; two sisters, Corinne (Max) Carr and Kay (Sammy) Harrison; her grandchildren, Andrea (Greg) Marshall, Amy (Steve) Ostrom, Clinton (Kathie) Wells and Timothy (Nesa) Wells and her great grandchildren, Emily, Eli, Grayson, Sophie, Luke, Remington, Brendan, Jaxton and Addilea. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Joseph V. Taylor, Jr. and a sister, Bettye Cheatam. Per Anna’s request, no services are scheduled. She will be laid to rest in Garland Brook Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana through the funeral home.
