SERVICES: 1:00 p.m. Friday June 6, 2014 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home FINAL RESTING PLACE: Garland Brook Cemetery VISITATION: 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home Anna Zelikman, M.D., 87, of South Lincoln Village Drive, died at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital. Anna was born August 19, 1926, in the Ukraine, the daughter of Ilya and Vassa Verbenko. She married Mark Zelikman, M.D., who passed away Janaury 17, 2000. Anna was a family doctor in the Ukraine for more than 50 years. She enjoyed gardening and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anna was a beautiful mom. Survivors include her son, Val (Liliya) Zelikman of Indianapolis, IN; a daughter, Irina (Ilya) Piraner of Columbus; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Mark.

I was sorry to read of the passing of Ms. Anna Zelikman. My condolences to the Zelikman and Piraner families. I deeply regret that I read the announcement too late to attend the funeral and calling.
