Archie Ray Hayworth October 01, 1918 - September 02, 2010 Archie Ray Hayworth, 91, of 26th Street, died at 11:10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at his home. Mr. Hayworth was an Army veteran of World War II and retired from Reeves Pulley. He was a member of East Columbus Christian Church and enjoyed fishing. Born in Garden City Oct. 1, 1918, Mr. Hayworth was the son of Alva Ray Charles and Terci Iona Oldaham Hayworth. He first married Lois J. Henderson, who preceded him in death. He later married Iris G. Robert and she preceded him in death Jan. 14, 2009. He is survived by a son, John Richard (Dina) Hayworth of Whitehouse, Station, N.J.; a stepson, Michael J. (Gail) Stickan of Titusville, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Sharon (Terry) Collier of Martinsville; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives; his parents; stepsons, Donald Stickan and Damon Stickan; sisters, Lola Crawford, Beatrice Thompson, Mildred Coles, Mary Thompson and Bea Thompson; and brothers, Bill Hayworth, Kenneth Hayworth, Granvill Hayworth and Edwin Hayworth. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Bridgewater officiating. VISITATION: 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
