Arnold Campbell February 26, 1926 - May 18, 2006 Arnold Campbell, 80, of Central Avenue died at 8:40 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2006, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home. Mr. Campbell was a retired washer and dryer repairman. Born in Hazard, Ky., Feb. 26, 1926, Mr. Campbell was the son of Lurther and Sarabell Wooten Campbell. He married Anna Mae App Nov. 10, 1944. She preceded him in death in 1983. Survivors include sons, Arnold Campbell Jr. of Lebec, Calif., Everett Campbell of Bakersfield, Calif., Billy Campbell of San Bernardino, Calif., and James Campbell of Portland, Ore.; daughters, Mary Campbell of El Cajon, Calif., Patsy Alvord of San Bernardino, Calif., Evelyn Mallari of Portland, Ore., and Margie Rock of Columbus; brothers, Eddie Campbell of Scottsburg and Gordon Campbell of Paducah, Ky.; sisters, Bessie Hurt of Austin and Martha Dickerson of Scottsburg; grandchildren, Danny Campbell, Carolyn Czubinski, Steven Campbell, Maylyne Kamidois, Kim Huie, Jenna Huie, Allan Alvord, Marsha Alvord, Tristee Thompson, Amber Thompson, Mike Rhodes, Tim Rhodes, Buffie Rhodes, Jenny Campbell and James Campbell; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
