Barbara was born April 14, 1953, in San Francisco, California, the daughter of Luther New and Evelyn Sargeant Reid.   Survivors include her son, Gerld M. 'Jerry' (Sheryl) Birdsong of Bluffton, Indiana; brother, Bill Reid of Oregon; sisters, Sandy Nun, of California and Patty (Bob) Macomber of Columbus; a great-niece, Annabelle Clark of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Meadow Birdsong.
