Barbara Jean Meyer May 10, 1925 - November 24, 2008 Barbara Jean Meyer, 83, of Aspen Lane died at 6:25 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. A member of Taylorsville United Methodist Church, Mrs. Meyer, along with her husband, owned Flowers From the Woods for several years in the 1980s. Mrs. Meyer was born in Bedford May 10, 1925, the daughter of Lester and Edna Forgey Denny. She married James Keith Meyer April 4, 1947. Survivors include a daughter, Susan (Wayne) Repp of Edinburgh; a son, Denny R. (Nancy K.) Meyer of Edinburgh; grandchildren, Dana Goddard and Christopher and Tyler Meyer; great-grandchildren, Connor and Evan Goddard; and sisters, Kathleen Beck of Freetown, Grace Howe of Columbus and Mary Alice Matthew of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 24, 1992; her parents; and brothers, Charles and Raymond Denny. Funeral Information FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Revs. Kirby Rupp and Gary Houston officiating.
