Barbara Shafer

Barbara Shafer, 55, died peacefully February 22, 2020, at her home. Barbara was born October 29th, 1964 in Columbus, OH. She was the daughter of Vernon P. Burns and Donna J. Hupp. Barb was a busy mother to four daughters and “momma” to many. She enjoyed coloring and was an avid Stevie Nicks fan. When she wasn’t coloring, she loved spending time with her best friend Lisa, daughters, and grandbabies. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 29th, 2020 at 12pm at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor John Sichting officiating. Family and friends may gather to remember Barb from 11am until service on Saturday. She is survived by her four daughters, Mia Hounshell, Erica Bibie (David), Chelsea Johnson (Ryan), and Samantha Noe (Michael); grandbabies Hal, Kash, Korbin, Tylor, and Danyel; other family members and lots of friends. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
