Barry Dale Philyaw April 23, 1967 - October 20, 2005 Barry Dale Philyaw, 38, of Vinewood Drive, died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, at Columbus Regional Hospital. He attended Columbus East High School and graduated from Doss High School in Louisville, Ky. He also attended Gods Bible College in Cincinnati. Barry was a member of the Camon Masonic Lodge #343 and Ohio Street Wesleyan Church. Born April 23, 1967, he was the son of Barry Leroy Philyaw and Connie (Melvin) Yates Frazier. He married Susan Fox Philyaw on June 20, 1992. Survivors include his mother, of Edinburgh; his wife, of Columbus; a daughter, Peyton Layne Philyaw of Columbus; grandparents, Amelia Yates of Columbus and Elsie Philyaw of Scottsburg; a stepmother, Betty Philyaw of Hope; brothers, Larry Miller of Scottsburg, Bryce Fields of Westfield, Tony Philyaw of Louisville and Cecil Frazier of Glasgow, Ky.; sisters, Melissa Johnson of North Vernon, Michelle Hunstable of Hope and Tonya Dell of Louisiana; aunts and uncles, John (Nancy) Philyaw, Russell Philyaw, Gail (Paul) Jaggers, Stanley Yates and Boyd Yates; seven nephews; 14 nieces; and two great nephews.
