Guestbook

  1. Bernice, what a joy and treasure in my life. Jean, I’m sorry for you loss. It isn’t going to be the same for any of us.

  2. Jean and Family: So sorry for your loss. I remember so much about Bernice and her sewing and being a dedicated member of the first church of Nazarene. My parents along with yours were charter members. I lost my dad Raymond Henry March 29th of this year. My mother Thelma in 1980. I saw your mother about two years ago in Silver Oaks as my dad was there for short term, had a really great conversation with her. Once again Jean sorry for your loss, but she is in heaven and will be watching over you still. Carole Henry Burton

  3. I am so sorry for your lose , Bernice has a special place in my heart and she will always have a special place in my heart. I cleaned her room and did her laundry at Silver Oaks.

  4. Jean–I was saddened to read of your mother’s death. I met your mom after your father died. My dad did your dad and mom’s taxes. After your dad died, my mom would pick your mom up and bring her to get her taxes done. Then I started doing her taxes after dad retired. She was such a pleasant person. When my mom was a small girl, your mom lived next door to my mother’s parents, Glenn and Ina Fish. Mom said that your mom invited her to go to Sunday School and would often take her to Sunday School with her. Your mom was a precious jewel who shone so brightly for Jesus. It was my honor and privilege to know her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  5. So sorry to hear of Bernice’s passing. She was always so thankful for any help given to her at Silver Oaks. I have no doubt that she is smiling and thanking God for the 103 years she had here on earth and for the eternity she now has with her loved ones. Know that you are in my prayers in your time of sorrow.
