Clinton St., Fort Wayne, IN 46825Bertha Marie Arnholt, 93, of Columbus, died at 6:45 p.m. June 13, 2018, at Silver Oaks Health Campus. Bertha was born April 7, 1925, in Priddy, Texas, the daughter of Wilhelm and Freida Lippe Koch. She married Walter H. 'Bud' Arnholt March 30, 1946, and he preceded her in death March 15, 2001.    Survivors include her sons, Ronald (Teresa) Arnholt and Raymond (Mary) Arnholt, both of Columbus; daughters, Betty (Fred) Kreuger of Fairfield, Iowa, Linda (Dean) Wenthe of Fort Wayne and Esther (Tyrone) Stoner of Barium Springs, North Carolina; a son-in-law, Randy Shumaker of Columbus; fourteen grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud; a daughter, Wanda Shumaker; brothers, Wilber, Marvin and Arnold Koch; and a sister, Louise Johnson.

  1. God Bless you all in your sorrow. Ron I know you were a loving and faithful son to your Mother and you will miss her so much. I only had a few opportunities to meet her but it was easy to tell that she was a loving woman of God and family.

  2. Ron you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I took care of Bertha for so long at Silveroakes, she will be missed. I hope she enjoys all the popcorn and Little House on the Prairie movies she wants!

  3. Sorry for your lost Ronnie, Frank Sr. and Alma always enjoyed visiting with your Mom and Dad. I always had great respect for both of your parents and they both never failed to take a moment to ask how the family what doing whenever we’d cross paths. Really wonderful people to know and I’ll always remember you and them
