Beth E. Cooley, 55, of Edinburgh, died at 10:52 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Cooley loved her cats, being outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren. Born in Columbus Oct. 28, 1955, Mrs. Cooley was the daughter of John Richard Prewitt I and Lavone Randall Prewitt. She married Darrell L. Cooley Feb. 8, 1975. Survivors include her husband; sons, Brian (Kim Mills) Staublin of Columbus and Andrew (Kim) Cooley of Edinburgh; daughters, Michele (Dale Fiesbeck) Cooley of Edinburgh and Carrie Cooley of Columbus; grandchildren, Trace Hacker, Kyle Staublin, Macy Cooley, Carter Cooley and Braden Brooks; and a brother, John Richard (Mary Jane) Prewitt II of Fort Myers, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sharon Cote. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Virgil Clotfelter officiating. VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. BURIAL: Vernon Cemetery MEMORIALS: Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana.
