Betty L. Godsey January 28, 1936 - February 11, 2011 Betty L. Godsey, 75, of Ruddick Avenue, died at 9:50 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2011, at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Pineville, Ky., January 28, 1936, the daughter of William Bill and Eller Pierce Mosley. She married Earlen Godsey October 9, 1953. He preceded her in death November 23, 2005. Betty was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She retired from Dolly Madison, June 16, 1996. She previously worked for Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Reed at their funeral home. She loved gospel music, her dogs, church and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty never met a stranger. She is survived by sons, Earlen Dwyan (Diane) Godsey of Seymour and Roger L. (Kellie Wilhelm) Godsey of Columbus; grandchildren, MaDonna (Billy) Meadors, Roger Kyle Godsey, Alisha LeeAnn Godsey and Dylan Edward Godsey, great-grandchildren, Rusty Mcclain and Ivory Meadows; brothers, Bobby Mosley of New Whiteland and Bill Mosley of Stoney Fork, Ky.; several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Alice Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Pearl and Dewey Mosley; and a sister, Sarah Ruth Durham. Funeral Information FUNERAL: Will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Poynter officiating. VISITATION: Will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday. BURIAL: Will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
